Universe Awareness activity in Tanzania

Children from Tanzania participate in a Universe Awareness (UNAWE) activity during the International Year of Astronomy 2009. This is one of the many examples of UNAWE activities that have been taken place in more than 40 countries. The recent grant from the European Union for the EUNAWE project will support the implementation of UNAWE in 6 countries and empower the UNAWE programme in many other countries.
