Newgrange Winter Solstice 2008: It is almost time for the winter solstice sunrise live feed from Newgrange, courtesy of the IYA2009 Irish Node. This is the first event specifically celebrating IYA2009 and it is hoped that many members of the public and the astronomy community will take this opportunity to experience the magic of the sunrise as seen by our neolithic ancestors.
