The beginning of reconstruction of the Astronomical observatory in Sarajevo
From October 2008, up to the end of 2009 and beyond
The only astronomical observatory in Bosnia-Herzegovina was destroyed during the war. IYA2009 activities will be used as flywheel for reconstruction of the Sarajevo observatory.

The few telescopes that currently exist in BiH will be used for public observations in all main towns.
